Reisinger Custom Rebuilding (RCR) is owned and operated by Patrick & Melissa Reisinger. Pat, a lifelong resident of Evansville, IN, was immersed in the world of fabrication and restoration from an early age.  Under the guidance of his father, Steve - who ran a custom shop in the 1960's -  Pat was welding, machining, and painting metal before the age of 10.  Growing up working on cars and tractors, he later attended the University of Southern Indiana before meeting Melissa at the IU School of Medicine.

After completing their medical residencies, Pat and Melissa returned to Evansville to start their family and medical  careers.  However, Pat's passion for restoring and rebuilding cars never faded.  While he found fulfillment in diagnosing and treating patients, he realized his true calling extended beyond medicine.  In 2008, the Reisingers decided to revive the family's legacy, reopening the shop under its original name.

RCR was reborn in a historic 1958 facility, which Pat and Melissa have continuously expanded.  The business has evolved into a premier restoration shop specializing in hot rod and pro touring builds.  From precision metal fabrication and coachbuilding to expert mechanical work and award-winning refinishing, RCR is dedicated to achieving the highest standards of quality and drivability.  

Pat and Melissa's commitment to assembling a team of skilled professionals has allowed RCR to stand out among the elite in the restoration industry.  The team includes expert metal fabricators, ASE-certified mechanics and a PPG-certified paint shop - each contributing to the exceptional craftsmanship RCR is known for.  Their work has been showcased multiple times at SEMA, and the shop has had the honor of building giveaway cars for NSRA in 2015, 2017, and 2019.  RCR has also earned numerous prestigious awards, including a Top 5 Street Rod of the Year recognition from Goodguys in 2019 and 2 Top 100 Street Rodder awards.

Beyond building award-winning cars, the team continuously hones their skills, attending advanced metalworking classes with industry legends such as Gene Winfield, Kevin Masson, and Ron Covell, as well as suspension training at Ridetech.  RCR's work is regularly featured at premier automotive events, including Triple Crown of Rodding, NSRA, Goodguys and SEMA in Las Vegas.
